California Balcony Inspections

What are SB – 326 and SB – 721?
Also known as the “California’s Balcony Bills,” these bills require HOAs and apartments to perform inspections of balconies and other exterior wood supported, load bearing structural elements, also known as “EEEs” (Exterior Elevated Elements). Originally, these inspections had to be completed no later than January 1, 2025.
However, this deadline has been extended to January 1st 2026.

What should I expect?
Our team of professionals will reach out to you to discuss pricing and scheduling. We are extremely flexible and can schedule inspections any day of the week. We will send an inspector to look at the balconies in question and perform the work as unobtrusively as possible. For EEEs that require inspection by endoscope, we drill a hole as discreetly as possible and plug it afterwards. After the inspection is finished, the inspector will submit their report to you and the local code enforcement agency within 3 – 5 business days. If repairs are needed, we can help recommend licensed, professional contractors who can perform the repair work. Finally, we will send your invoice via email.
